AH. I love the feeling of performing in such a wonderful place of love and happiness. SLAM JAM. I was glad out to come out to a Coquitlam church with some of my lovely friends to feel nice, alive and poetically charged. Me and the others did a mix of poetry and music and all the money went to Homes For Good Society, a non-profit group hoping to end homelessness.
Overall, it just felt good to get out there. Do poetry. Everyone in the audience was so attentive, happy and encouraging. Something about those Coquitlam kids makes them really great souls of community. I really love it. How wonderful it is that people come together to share art for something so important? VERY WONDERFUL BLOG READER. VERY MUCH SO!
P.S The only fault with this lovely event was the dramatic spelling of my name 😉
