The Tiny Tricycle Poets are three wheels eager for playfulness, brought to life in Vancouver, BC. They are made up of a National Slam Champion, a Provincial Slam Champion and a Bacon Slam Champion. They joined forces after bonding at a week-long clowning class. They’ve shared the stage with clowns, musicians and politicians.
As a spoken word trio, they have had a 8 city tour through the Pacific Northwest in summer 2017 and a tour across Canada in summer 2018.
They have performed at the Sunset Beach Festival and the Davie Street Block Party among many other festivals and events including Family Fuse at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
They also host their own show, Between Three Wheels, at the Havana Theatre where they want to talk about what they miss at slams. They highlight a poet from the Canadian community and through a comedy lens, ask them questions about how their work is rejected from literary journals, if they have to work at Starbucks regardless of being the Poet Laureate… all that funny stuff.
The Tiny Tricycle Poets have a residency at the Roundhouse Community Centre where they engage youth in playful clown and poetry workshops and showcases for performance.
They have a wacky YouTube channel where you can follow them on their journey through poetry and play.
